We exist, “To allow people to fall in deep love with the Eucharist, so as to address the spiritual poverty."

Our Mission

ABOUT US

What is Bread of Life Eucharist Foundation?

Bread of Life Eucharist Foundation (currently under registration process) is a Non-Profit, religious, Roman Catholic Lay organization whose aim is “To allow people to fall in deep love with the Eucharist, so as to address the spiritual poverty.".

What is Spiritual poverty?

Spiritual poverty means disorientation, inner emptiness, distress, and even despair about the meaning of one’s own existence, moral and spiritual confusion, self-abandonment, the absence or marginalization of the religious dimension, apathy or overwhelming indifference, scandal, division, disease, doubt, lack of vocation. All these problems are symptoms of the Spiritual poverty within the World. Still, the Church has withstood each of these symptoms throughout the history by administering the medicine of immortality, our Eucharistic Lord.

Why is there a need of Bread of Life Eucharist Foundation?

Our World is hungry & broken. We all need food & healing, yet many of us are separated from the very source of our nourishment & strength. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our Christian life, the Eucharist. The Bread of Life Eucharist Foundation is an honest response to this invitation. The Bread of Life Eucharist Foundation is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery of the Eucharist by helping Catholics renew the understanding of the Real Presence, the Mass and the cult of adoration of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

What is our vision statement?

“To allow people, to reach their ultimate spiritual fulfillment more fully and more easily.”

Founder's Eucharistic Vision

Founder, Gaurav Patole sharing his Eucharistic witness at MHOC, Naigaon East, Vasai Taluka, 2023.

Eucharistic Vision - A witness by Gaurav Patole

"In 2012, While working in USA, Microsoft as a Software Engineer, I had witnessed a life changing vision. In 2012 while attending 4:30 PM Holy Mass at St Anns Church in Coppel, Texas, USA - I had a personal vision of the Most Holy Eucharist where I experienced “the bleeding crucifix juxtaposed over the Holy Eucharist” during the moment of consecration. While I could not fully grasp the phenomenon, somehow I finished the Mass and decided to search for the answer to the question – “What happens during Mass?” This was a life changing quest and in an attempt to find the answers, I started soaking myself in scriptures and Catechism of the Catholic Church – just to realize that Christ is present in the Holy Eucharist “really, truly and substantially”. And one fine day, I came across the work of a fellow Computer Hobbyist – Blessed Carlo Acutis who had great passion for the Holy Eucharist. And as I was browsing, I got introduced to his work where he had Catalogued all the Eucharistic Miracles of the World. I soon realized the divine plan unfolding in front of my eyes. With lot of prayers, discernment & Mama Mary’s intercession - I heard the Lord calling me to proclaim the work of Bld Carlo Acutis and spread his catalogued Miracles of the Eucharist in all over India. This had sealed my vocation and I decided to say “Yes” to preach our Eucharistic Lord.  Since 2012, our entire Patole family from Nasikh diocese started BOL Eucharist Foundation and dedicated ourselves to fostering devotion to the Holy Eucharist and promoting Eucharistic miracles through faith formation, Vatican International exhibitions, and digital evangelization. Our mission aligns with the Church’s call to deepen the faithful’s understanding of Christ’s Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament, inspired by Blessed Carlo Acutis, who devoted his short life to cataloging Eucharistic miracles."
